Some game pickup times won't be listed until the 2026 Fall Football Schedule has been fully released. Check back as dates are confirmed.
Who actually operates the bus?
— an independent, federally licensed motor carrier based here in Tuscaloosa (
· ). They own the coaches, employ and supervise the drivers, and carry the operating authority, safety rating and insurance the DOT requires of a passenger carrier. You can look them up yourself on the FMCSA's
SAFER database. Hitch-A-Ride arranges the trip and sells the seats —
we don't own or drive the buses.
Do I need an ID to board?
Yes — bring a valid government-issued or student photo ID. Your name must match your reservation, and you won't be allowed to board without it. Every passenger needs their own ID. If you plan to drink, it also has to prove you're 21 — no ID, no drinking.
Is alcohol allowed on the bus?
Yes, if you're 21 or over. Riders of legal drinking age may bring and drink their own — we don't sell or supply alcohol, and it has to be in cans or plastic, no glass. Nobody under 21 drinks on our buses, and there is no exception to that. Photo ID is checked at boarding. Don't buy, pour, hand off or leave a drink where an under-21 rider can reach it: that gets both of you put off the bus and is a crime besides. Nobody boards intoxicated, and the driver can stop drinking on board at any point, for one rider or for everyone.
How do you stop underage drinking?
We check photo ID at boarding against the passenger list — every rider needs their own, and we already hold each rider's name and age from checkout. Riders under 21 are known to us before anyone gets on. Beyond that it's on the adults aboard: giving alcohol to someone underage is a crime in every state we drive through, and it's grounds for removal with no refund. If you'd rather not be around it at all, that's fair — email us before you book and we'll tell you honestly what to expect.
What can I bring?
Snacks, blankets, seat cushions, portable chargers, and game day gear. Non-alcoholic drinks are fine for everyone; alcohol only if you're 21 or over, and only in cans or plastic — no glass. Keep bags to what fits overhead or under your seat.
Is there assigned seating?
No assigned seating — it's first come, first served at pickup. Arrive on time; the bus leaves promptly.
Can I bring a cooler or large bags?
Small soft coolers are fine. Alcohol inside only if you're 21 or over, and no glass either way. Hard-side coolers and oversized bags are not permitted.
What if I need to cancel?
Contact us as soon as possible.
14 or more days before departure you get a full refund, less a $5 service fee.
Inside 14 days seats are non-refundable — but you can hand your seat to someone else free of charge up to 48 hours before departure, as long as their name matches their photo ID. Approved refunds go back to your original payment method and usually take 5–10 business days to show up on your statement. Full details are in the
Passenger Agreement.
